Vacancy for an additional teacher in our expanding kindergarten at Somanahalli campus (off Kanakapura Road, Bangalore). A Waldorf Kindergarten is an extension of a child’s home. The teacher must be a loving, caring and gentle person, guided by a strong Will and Interest in working with young children.
This magical world requires the candidate to have good communication skills and a sweet singing voice to sweep children into stories of fairies, kings and faraway lands. Since there is no formal academics at this stage, the teacher must design a curriculum that enhances a child’s imagination, creativity, physical development and is rich in sensory perceptions.

We invite individuals who are passionate about working with young children and who have chosen Teaching as their career path. A Class teacher must have the educational qualification to impart Literacy and Numeracy through core academic subjects of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Science, up to Grade 7.
In a Waldorf school, the core academic subjects are taught artistically. Waldorf teachers can enrich their teaching experience by preparing themselves in Painting, Singing, Movement, Poetry, playing musical instruments, Speech and Drama.
Training workshops/seminars / on—the—job guidance and support will be made available for the teachers. A Class teacher provides stability and creates strong bonds by staying with the same set of children for over 7 years.
